We visited Sharkarosa Ranch in Pilot Point with a group from church yesterday. It's an amazing place, and we were there at an incredible time. Within the last couple of weeks, they had a baby camel, baby zebra, baby lemur, and foal born. Also 3 joeys had just been kicked out of their mamas' pouches.P2 enjoyed the petting pen with goats & pigs. He visited it twice.
On the safari ride, we saw some amazing animals - blue-eyed horses, camels, 4 types of deer, emu (P2 tho't that was one big "Quack Quack"), and 3 types of zebras. It's something else to be face to face with a gigantic camel, muchless 5 of them. I really liked the shadow striped zebra, seen below.
